Consortium for Global Workforce Strategies
In our highly competitive and dynamic global economy, the ability to attract, generate and sustain a skilled workforce is a fundamental element of any local, regional or national economy. These economies ultimately compete in the global marketplace on their ability to harness and deploy human potential in the workplace with innovative workforce policies.
The Consortium for Global Workforce Strategies will draw on faculty and institutional resources across the campuses of ASU to examine a broad range of global factors and populations as they relate to economic and workforce development including: education, job training, economic development strategies, older workers, social marketing and macro-economic trends. The Consortium will provide an institutional framework for international workforce development leaders to conduct applied workforce research, develop collaborative workforce policy and ultimately deploy workforce programs through public and private workforce investment.
