Computer Assisted Research Laboratory (CARL)

The CARL is a multifunction state-of-the-art facility designed to enable a broad range of research experiments, learning scenarios and commercial uses. The lab floor plan includes 17 semi-private upholstered cubicles with workstations, monitors, padded rolling chairs and storage cabinets. Located in suite 5519 in the southeast corner of the Lattie F. Coor building, the CARL offers adjacent access to ISSR reception areas, kitchen, conference rooms, focus group rooms and other experimental research facilities.

Powerful Tools for Research

The CARL facilities at the ISSR serve as a flexible platform for your research project. The workstations and server can be configured to your specifications with custom applications, web sites or surveys provided by the ISSR’s Survey Research and Analysis Group. You can choose to work with our technical and logistical support staff or develop your project independently.

Services & Rates

The CARL facilities can be reserved in hourly increments or as part of a collaborative research project agreement with an ISSR research group. As a university cost center, the ISSR offers access to the CARL suite with technical support at ABOR approved rates. Please inquire for current rates and usage guidelines. Projects that involve ISSR researchers can be negotiated independently. Some of the many services available are:
